“Kupa’a”

Steadfast, firm, constant, immoveable. To persist, Perform, Strengthen, Fortify, and establish. Shine bright among oppression, and invaders

The Island Nation of Hawai’i was recognized globally as a self governing monarchy, after over a thousand years on the isolated land mass in the Pacific. King KalaKaua was among the first in the New Monarchy system, inspired by their alliance with the English at the time. He traveled around the world, signing Treaties with dozens of nations recognizing Hawaii as an Indepedent Nation, a seat at the table of power for the First time in Hawaii’s History.

Thanks to a few pineapple merchants, descendants of American Missionaries and the United States Marines, This independence was cut short as the Queen was held at gunpoint, forced to relinquish control of the islands to the United States. Today, this has not been forgotten or forgiven by the people of Hawaii who still believe in their independence
