As you know, Palms trees are really just overgrown grasses that grow from a central stem. If you didn’t know that, now you do know that. If you’ve been here a while you’ll remember me rambling about this one before. We just call them trees because they’re big, like trees

Tough and fibrous trunks allow for bending in the wind, with surprising resistance to natural forces. Palms can live in sandy and Salty Beach conditions which make them prevalent on coasts across the planet 🌏 their slim profiles allow them to survive hurricanes where other trees would shatter
