Eddie Aikau is a Hawaiian surfing Legend. He was a Lifeguard in Waimea Bay, a world famous Beach on Oahu, and is credited with saving over 500 people and surfing some truly killer waves

He pushed the world of surfing farther than it had ever seen before, but was tragically lost at sea during a rescue attempt in 1978
